Few things are more frustrating than problems with electrical power. Our core expertise is the design and installation of systems that deliver power when it’s needed and where it’s needed. Because any power system can be interrupted by conditions beyond your control, we also offer backup power for buildings of all sizes.
UPS systems
Can your business survive a major power outage? We offer trusted brands of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units that bridge the gap between the moment the power goes out and when your backup generators kick in.
We also offer service contracts on existing UPS systems, on a monthly, semi-annual or annual basis, so clients with critical systems know their power will stay on, even when the grid is down.
Power generators
Rotech offers generators as a backup power system for homes, larger commercial buildings and industrial sites that need uninterruptible power. Generators are commonly combined with a UPS to keep a steady supply during an outage, which we highly recommend where outages are common or systems are critical.
We also offer maintenance contracts so your generator is ready when you need it, plus load bank testing.
Datacenters & networking
Every sizeable commercial building needs datacenter and networking infrastructure to control its systems, from CAT6 cabling to fiber optics. Rotech designs and installs these networks from scratch, or updates and expands existing infrastructure.
We use a cable management system to keep data cabling clear of interference from power wiring, whose magnetic fields can impede data signals.
Solar installations
Aruba’s abundant sunshine makes solar panels an excellent renewable power source for homes and commercial buildings. A photovoltaic system typically includes solar modules, an inverter, sometimes a battery or solar tracker, and the interconnecting wiring. Supplying all or much of a building’s electricity from solar can save substantial costs over time.
Power analysis & management
Using state-of-the-art energy analyzers, we capture voltage, current and frequency at high speed to see which interactions cause problems, such as large loads switching on and dropping voltage so other critical equipment malfunctions. We also find where power is being wasted, so you save on utilities.
Infrared electrical inspections & reporting

Demand for regular inspections has grown as more companies see the benefits, especially of infrared inspections. Our thermal camera quickly identifies “hot spots”, points where a connection or circuit is overheating. Left alone, these can escalate into outages or even electrical fires.
Infrared inspections are usually requested by larger commercial buildings and industrial operations, but the same problems occur in homes, so we serve both commercial and residential clients.

Our technicians use an infrared thermal camera to find “hot spots”, specific points where a wiring connection or circuit is overheating, so they can be fixed before they cause an outage or an electrical fire.

Generator load bank testing
A backup generator only helps if it works when the grid fails.
Hotels and other businesses in Aruba rely on generators during outages. But a generator may sit unused until the moment you really need it. Load bank testing runs it at the highest load it may face, testing every component under realistic conditions. Ideally it’s part of your yearly generator maintenance.
How it works
- An artificial load that simulates your real load is placed on the generator for a set time.
- The load is increased gradually while performance at each level is recorded.
- A load bank, a machine with various rated kilowatt sizes, runs the test safely.
What the test tells you
- Is your system powerful enough to meet the requirements?
- Can it provide a stable frequency?
- Are oil and fuel pressure as they should be?
- Is the alternator providing the required voltage stability?
Testing also removes carbon deposits and gives you time to fix problems. We partner with Load Banks Direct, a leading manufacturer of high-capacity load banks, for safe and accurate testing. It is especially useful if your generator doesn’t regularly run at 30% of its rated load or more.
LED lighting & wastewater treatment
LED lighting costs more up front, but lasts so much longer and uses so much less electricity than incandescent or compact fluorescent lights that it more than pays for itself.
