Power analysis & management

When you need to know whether your power system is efficient, or what is causing power quality problems in your building, our power analysis service gives you the answer.
One common challenge is load switching: when a large item or system powers up, the sudden demand can drop the overall voltage so far that other critical equipment malfunctions. Our Fluke power analyzers, with their PowerWave function, capture voltage, current and frequency together at high speed to see exactly which interactions cause the problem.
We also assess the efficiency of inverter systems that convert solar panel DC power into AC power, and find where power is being wasted so you can lower utility costs.
LED lighting
The most efficient and versatile lighting ever invented.
Homes and commercial buildings can lower their electric bills and reduce power-related carbon emissions by switching to LED. While LEDs cost more up front, they more than pay for themselves through lower electricity costs, and keep doing so for many years.
Whatever conventional bulbs you have, there’s an LED replacement in every shape, size and color. Rotech also carries:

Building automation

Building automation makes life easier by controlling lighting, HVAC, appliances, gates, doors, alarms and CCTV from one place. For homes and smaller commercial applications, Rotech is the official dealer for Control4 products in Aruba.
Hotels, resorts, hospitals, large offices and industrial facilities need a more robust building automation system (BAS): a computerized network that monitors and controls mechanical, electronic and lighting systems. A BAS keeps the indoor environment within a set range, controls lighting by occupancy schedule, and alerts maintenance staff to failures. It can greatly increase energy efficiency, so the right BAS pays for itself.
We work with a variety of leading BAS brands, and our installers train regularly on each system.
BioKube wastewater treatment
Patented Danish technology to treat wastewater and reuse it.
Water is one of our most precious resources, especially in the semi-arid climate of Aruba and the other Caribbean islands. Rotech represents BioKube systems, trusted in more than 40 countries, that treat black and grey water so it can be reused for non-drinking purposes.
Systems come in sizes for individual homes, hotels and resorts, commercial buildings and entire communities. They sit underground with no odor or noise, need very little maintenance, and are plug & play. Pre-fabricated units are delivered and installed by Rotech, internationally certified, and adaptable to local water treatment standards. Sludge can even be converted into energy or fertilizer.
Lead Crystal® batteries
The storage behind our hybrid and off-grid solar systems.
Lead Crystal® batteries combine a micro-porous high-absorbent mat (AGM), thick plates cast from a high-purity lead calcium selenium alloy for extended life, and an SiO2-based electrolyte.
When charged and discharged, the liquid electrolyte turns into a crystallized state, leaving hardly any free liquid in the battery. That minimizes leakage risk, makes installation more flexible, and is safer for installers and users. The special electrolyte also keeps active material from becoming brittle and falling off the plates, improving cycle life.
